Please fly into Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) in Arlington, VA. The Dulles Airport is far away from our venue. From Nashville, American and Southwest fly direct.
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) to Lusby, MD and Solomons Island, MD is approximately 63 miles or a 90 minutes car drive. Please note that DMV (District, Maryland, and Virginia) traffic can be slow and unpredictable. Always give yourself lots of extra time when driving.

Approximately 73 miles or 90 minutes from our wedding venue, the Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport is the second closest airport to the Lusby, Solomons, California, and Lexington Park, MD areas. BWI is an international airport in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, located 9 mi south of downtown Baltimore and 30 miles northeast of Washington, D.C. There are several rental car locations located onsite or with shuttle services from the BWI terminals to the rental car facilities.
BWI is one of three major airports that serve the Washington–Baltimore metropolitan area, with the other two being Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) in Arlington, VA and the Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) being the other 2 airports. The Dulles Airport is the longest distance from our wedding venue.

Airport Rental Car Services and DC Area Rental Cars
The Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) is approximately 63 miles from the Lusby, MD and Solomons Island, MD areas. It is approximately 90 minutes in traffic, but it is a pleasant scenic tree-lined drive from DC, especially when you get off of the DC beltway or interstate. The majority of the drive is 2 lanes traffic in both directions. Many people commute from Southern Maryland to DC for work regularly via Route 4 or Route 5. We will also add driving direction options that bypass most of the interstate/beltway and also tolls in the direction section. We also provide directions via the interstate/beltway.
There are rental car companies who will pick you up in a shuttle or bus outside of the Washington Reagan National Airport and take you to the nearby facility to rent your car. When you return the vehicle on your departure, the shuttles/buses will drop you off at the DCA terminal.
Many of the same rental car options are available at the Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). Although approximately 73 miles from the Lusby, MD and Solomons Island, MD areas, the drive in traffic is also approximately 90 minutes.
