After the ceremony, guests will be directed to an area for a one-hour cocktail hour, followed by the wedding reception. Both will also take place at Chesapeake Hills. During the cocktail hour, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and light hors d'oeuvres will be served. A buffet reception with music, dancing, toasts, lots of good fun, and connecting with new and old family/friends will fill the evening. Children/Minors Age 17 and Under and Anyone under 21: If your guest or plus one is a minor under the age of 18 or under the legal Maryland drinking age of 21, please reach out to us in advance to let us know the minor's/person's age and name. Limited 2-Hour Open Bar with Non-alcoholic and Alcoholic Beverages: Following the ceremony, there will be a 2-hour open bar with alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine, and a few specialty drinks. There will be a champagne toast that includes a non-alcoholic cider option. Throughout the reception and cocktail hour, there will also be non-alcoholic beverages such as water, lemonade, and sodas available. Because we care about you and the safety of our community, we encourage responsible intake of alcoholic beverages. Please drink plenty of water and eat throughout the day.. Of course, we want you to enjoy the evening, but please monitor your consumption of alcohol to avoid intoxication.
